SpawGlass is a true learning organization. To provide the highest level of service, we must have qualified and accredited team members. We hire based on our core values, outlined in The SpawGlass Way, and then help our team members grow in their careers in a planned and strategic manner.

SpawGlass University

SpawGlass team members advance construction and overall business knowledge through our SpawGlass University program. SpawGlass University’s in-house courses and development programs provide resources for individual and team growth and advancement, enhance and reinforce existing skills and leadership capabilities and develop exceptional SpawGlass leaders for the future. Our biweekly team members are required to complete 32 + hours of training per year, and our craft professionals are required to complete 20 + training hours per year. This process of continuous learning benefits our individual team members and our entire team as a whole, contributing to the success of our projects.

Leadership through Teamwork (LtT)

Since 1996, SpawGlass team members have attended week-long Leadership through Teamwork (LtT) training sessions away from the workplace to learn first-hand the value of teamwork. This training has resulted in more creative problem-solving, which has helped us consistently produce better solutions for our clients.

Leadership Pipeline Program (LPP)

Our Leadership Pipeline Program is geared toward the next generation of leaders at SpawGlass. Subjects include Strengths-Based Leadership and emotional intelligence. As a deliverable part of this program, team members present individual Action Learning Projects (ALP) to the SpawGlass leadership group. Several past ALPs, as well as additional ideas from participants, have been implemented throughout the company.

Enterprise Leadership Program (ELP)

Spaw Glass’ third level of leadership training was developed to prepare our team members for leading at levels that interact and lead across the company. These positions are critical to driving our culture, core processes, innovation and change throughout SpawGlass. To do this, our team members must be high-caliber leaders, have a global understanding of SpawGlass’ business practices and functional departments. 

Field Leadership Development (FLD)

The Field Leadership Development program is designed to provide field leaders with the skills and tools to maintain high-quality job performance, and maximize profitability and productivity on our self-perform work. This course series covers critical topics from a field leadership perspective.
